One of the most difficult parts of starting the restoration process is removing contents and personal property in a safe organized manner. The In Home team has mastered the art of packing, inventory, moving and storage. We understand the importance of this task and do not take our responsibility lightly.
There are three parts to a successful pack out/pack back.

1. WRAPING & PACKING
Each item is gently wrapped in the appropriate packing materials, i.e. bubble wrap, paper or dish pack and packed safely in boxes.

2. INVENTORY & DAMAGE INSPECTION
We take a general inventory of the contents of each box, and the room in which the items were removed from. Furniture and other large items are photographed/video taped and inspected for damage. We then wrap these items in blankets and/or plastic wrap.

3. MOVING & STORAGE
The contents are then loaded into a storage bin and secured with blankets and/or straps for safe transport. In most cases contents are stored in large portable bins for the duration of the restoration process. This is important because the contents are only moved once. The result is less chance for damage and lower labor costs.
